History
: The
Veterans
Administration
selected
Richard
Posner
to
produce
a
permanent
artwork
for a
new
addition
to the
hospital
. The
artist
worked
with the
project
architects
to
develop
the
entryway
for the
new
addition
. He was
commissioned
to
do
the
work
in
1982
, and the
project
was
dedicated
in
1984
.
