Notes	[Project never built] Proposed location between 3rd and 4th Streets on Market, San Francisco, CA. Sponsor/Developer: YBG Associates, Olympia and York, California Equities Corporation and Marriet Corporation Project Description: The design of the office building top is an abstract deconstruction of the traditional building crowns as they were built in the early decades of the 20th century. With a silhouette vaguely shaped like a pyramid or dome, the top is composed of lines rather than surfaces. The lines will be made of rolled steel members. As the viewers move about the city and see the top from various locations, the form of the top will subtly change. The artwork members will compose and recompose to shape silhouettes reminiscent of traditional skyscrapers or exciting new forms not normally associated with building crowns.
