Notes	Sponsor/Developer: The Ruth Seavy Jackson Fund, Port Townsend Parks Board and City Arts Commission. Project Location: waterfront, Port Townsend, WA. Project Description: This project consists of curving terraces and seating which lead to a circular tidal 'inlet' which also serves as a tide clock. A covered dock viewing area located nearby incorporates an aeolian harp on its roof. This artwork is one of the largest commissioned artworks in Washington State. Its spectacular location along the shoreline of Port Townsend will make it a prominent gathering place for residents and visitors to the city. [Note: In March 2009 the Port Townsend town council voted to remove the Tidal Clock (which had not been built according to the original design) and to replace it with stage for concerts and other events. In a letter to the city, the artists Hollis and Fahlen asked that their names be removed from the modified version. The wave-viewing gallery will be moved inland and reconstructed. ]
