Subject Information	The garden is a narrative depicting the chronological history of the church, from the primitive Golden Age (i.e. the Fountain of the Deluge at the top of the Garden) to modern civilization (the fountain of the lower terrace). The Villa Lante is the least changed and best preserved of the gardens of this period.
