Built 1981. Project Description: This small pocket park contains perimeter benches, trees, and pole-mounted animal weather vanes. These cartoon-like weather vanes extend up into the trees. The park serves as a pedestrian traffic island, with benches, trees, and wind vanes created by Joseph Barbieri. His fancifully designed animals and birds are often impeccably dressed. This small urban oasis comes alive with Barbieri's small animals hidden in the trees, offering a humorous surprise to visitors. Sponsor/Developer: CDBG and National Endowment for the Arts. Project Location: Main Street and Bishop Allen Drive, Cambridge, MA
