Notes	Project Description: This Cistercian monastery, founded in 1140, was converted to a private house in the mid-17th century. Although the house has not been altered since that time, there have been substantial changes made to the 30 acre garden. These changes include the introduction of an arboretum, a rock garden, herbaceous borders, a bog garden, and a kitchen garden. Project Location: near Chard, Dorset. Size: 30 acres
