Description	Lama figure (Chuk-Chi-shay, a Tantric Deity) on one side surrounded by 16th Century Lenza script on reverse side the border of Tibetan script from the same era that surrounds a plain disc. The varying properties of mirrors have been alluded to by writers from the Han dynasty on. The ideas vary from astronomical or cosmological symbolism to the power to reflect "Inner Form" or to detect illusion. Tibetans frequently put these in graces to help souls through the period of Bardo (the time between death and rebirth). Generally speaking, the design of a bronze mirror is of concentric bands of varying width. Main design is usually on a wider band in inner section. Outer band usually a geometric pattern.
