Description	The George A. Joslyn House was nicknamed the Joslyn Castle by neighbors. George and Sarah Joslyn had their beautiful home built in 1903. The second photo shows the carriage house where their horses and carriages were kept. When Sarah Joslyn died, her will said that the house had to be used to help children. She wanted it to become a school or an orphanage. But, she did not want the house to be changed. It was very expensive to care for the house, and it was hard to find a new owner. Omaha Public Schools bought the house and used it for their administration building for 44 years. Now, the state of Nebraska owns the house and rents it to people for special events like weddings and parties.
