Title	Mormon Bridge
Description	The Mormon Bridge was finished in 1952. The first try at building such a bridge was in 1856, but it was not successful. They tried again in 1936, but the Great Depression stopped the plan. In 1946 the General Bridge Act allowed building to begin. However, plans for the bridge were not finished until the 1950’s. It was a toll bridge at first. You had to pay 25 cents to cross the bridge. By April 1979, the toll was 75 cents. The money was used to pay back the cost of the bridge. Spencer Kimball, the President of the Mormon Church paid the last toll.
