Zhe-a-di-gdhon or Breech-cloth. This garment now made of cloth was originally of dressed deer skin. The design wrought upon the ends was simply ornamental. The front end hung a little below the body, while the back end fell nearly to the knee. Young dandies sometimes wore the back part of the breech-cloth to a great length most or quite to the feet"(La Flesche 1898:14).
