The U'-zhi-ha or bag used by women. That seen in the picture is of native weaving. In earlier days fiber from the nettle was woven but this has been superceded by the yarns of the white people, and weaving in the tribe is now confined to the making of sashes, garters, and these bags used by the women. Bags of skin were also the receptacle of sewing materials"(La Flesche 1898:26).
