Notes	The completed sculpture is on the east side of the north face of the Capitol building tower. The eight figures on the tower represent the 'Genius of Human Civilization' as represented by great men of different historical periods. These include: 'the Egyptian scribe Pentaour (representing the Dawn of History); Semitic seer Ezekiel (representing Cosmic Tradition); Greek philosopher Socrates (representing Birth of Reason); Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius (representing Reign of Law); the Apostle John (representing the Glorification of Faith); King Louis IX of France (representing the Age of Chivalry); Renaissance scientist Isaac Newton (representing the Discovery of Nature); and Abraham Lincoln the Emancipator (representing the Liberation of Peoples).'
