Notes	Located north of Bratton Hall School of Law, University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. Sponsor/Developer: University of New Mexico Project Description: The artist created two concrete arcs which rise from below ground level on one end to fully above ground level on the other, with a slanted grass pad between them. This minimalist work has a functional use for sitting or picnicking. The slanted grass 'platform', partially above and partially below ground level, is actually an optical illusion. The arced retaining walls do not mirror each other and have different radial measurements, yet the effect is of a continuous circle with a slanted interior grass floor. Project History: The Art Acquisition Committee at the University of New Mexico selected this artwork from a limited invitational competition.
