Notes	Located at Austin Museum of Art at Laguna Gloria, 3809 West 35th Street, at the edge of the museum grounds near lakefront, Austin, TX. Sponsor/Developer: The Laguna Gloria Museum with NEA support Project Description: This sculpture has site lines that correspond with the movements of the sun in the sky. A long nautical chain extends out into Town Lake in reference to boating activity on the lake. The remote site for this artwork, and the natural grasses and reeds, provide a tranquil and beautiful setting for this artwork along the Town Lake waterfront. Town Lake is created by the damming of the Colorado River where it passes through Austin. A circular hole in one side of the artwork lines up with a wrought-iron ring in the month of April. Project History: This artwork was commissioned through a 'seven sculptures' project supported in part by NEA and the Laguna Gloria Museum.
