Notes	Sponsor/Developer: University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Project Description: Trakas integrated pedestrian bridges, paths and seating on an island at the east end of the Campus Pond. The edges of the island were contoured with stone, concrete and landscaping. There are two bridges, one made of a slab of stone and the other of painted steel. [The Smithsonian Institution Research Information System (SIRIS) notes that the project was funded by a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant.
