Title	Road between Oulches and Craonnelle
Description	"C.27. Oulches-Craonelle road (Chemin des Dames). Oct. 1917." Scattered piles of rubble and partial walls of ruined buildings line the street that curves from the left foreground to the image's center. A black soldier stands in the middle of the road and looks toward the photographer. A trio of soldiers on the left of the road and a group farther back near a dead tree stand and seem to look toward the soldier in the road. Four more soldiers, two of whom have wheelbarrows, stand near a curve in the road and appear to be working at moving rubble. One of the ruined buildings in the right background looks like a church.
